Since the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal 2015 (2072 BS), the country operates a federal structure with three tiers of government. Primary legislation is enacted by the Federal Parliament and published in the Nepal Gazette (Nepal Rajapatra), while the Nepal Law Commission maintains the consolidated statute repository. Regulatory policy sits across bodies such as Nepal Rastra Bank, the Securities Board of Nepal, the Nepal Telecommunications Authority, and the Office of the Company Registrar.
