Connect Lawstronaut to Microsoft Copilot
Add Lawstronaut as an MCP tool to your agent in Copilot Studio, then use it in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Requires maker access to Copilot Studio. Org data policies (DLP) may govern MCP connections.
Setup
In Copilot Studio, open your agent → Tools → Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.
Enter name “Lawstronaut”, description “Primary legal data across 158+ jurisdictions”, server URL https://mcp.lawstronaut.com.
Select OAuth 2.0 → Manual and enter your Client ID + Secret (from the Developer Portal) plus Lawstronaut’s authorization, token, and refresh URLs. Click Create — the callback URL shown is already registered.
In the Add tool dialog, select Create a new connection, sign in, then Add to agent.
Test in the test pane, then publish the agent to make it available in Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Test your connection
Ask your agent: “Which jurisdictions require a data protection officer for companies under 250 employees? Cite the statutes.”
